What are Private PreK Programs?
Private PreK Programs are early childhood education programs, specifically for children in the year before kindergarten, that are privately funded and operated. They differ from public PreK programs in that they are not part of the public school system and are typically tuition-based. These programs often offer more flexibility in curriculum and teaching methods, potentially including specialized approaches like Montessori or religious-based learning.
How to Enroll in Private PreK Programs
To enroll, visit the "Find a Provider" Map below to find and contact programs available in your area. Please note, if you are a program and do not see yourself listed on the map, please email nevadacountyupk@nevco.org.

Please note that Family Child Care providers are not included on the map because these are located in providers’ homes and the publication of these addresses is restricted. To find Family Child Care providers near you, visit www.mychildcareplan.org or www.sncs.org.
